Norovirus is one of the pathogens responsible for viral gastroenteritis. Highly contagious, it often spreads in schools, densely populated institutions, workplaces, and similar environments, leading to outbreaks. Inhaling droplets from the vomit or feces of an infected person can result in infection!
To prevent viral gastroenteritis, be vigilant about hygiene to avoid oral transmission. Wash hands frequently, maintain food safety, and ensure that infected individuals rest at home to prevent further spread.
