Reminder: NCU is a Smoke-Free Campus

In accordance with the amended Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act, which came into effect on March 22, 2023, and to protect the health of all faculty, staff, and students while maintaining a clean and smoke-free campus environment,
National Central University has fully implemented a campus-wide smoking ban.
Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the campus, including but not limited to indoor and outdoor public spaces, corridors, stairwells, areas outside the campus walls, and parking lots.
The ban covers:
All tobacco products (including electronic cigarettes).
Designated regulated products (including heated tobacco products).
Violations of the ban will result in fines ranging from NT$2,000 to NT$10,000 in accordance with the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act.
Individuals under the age of 20 who violate the law will be required to attend 3 hours of smoking cessation education.
